1If you buy bok choy on the market, avoid purchase bok choy with wilted or yellow leaves. You should buy a bok choy with white and crisp stems and has green leaves. Before you want to cook them, the first thing you have to do is wash them up in running water. If the bok choy has lots of sand, put them in a large bowl that full of ice water. You have to flip them back in an ice water then rinse them with running water.

2After that, cut the bok choy into the same small pieces. If the bok choy is too short, you can leave them out. The easy way to choose the bok choy leaves is to select them with small leaves because you don’t have to cut into pieces. If the bok choy has lots of water after you wash it, you should shake them off.

3Preheat a frying pan with olive oil or butter on it on a medium heat. Add some garlic that you have already minced into it.
